Put a fresh face forward

Pellevé® is a unique noninvasive wrinkle treatment that uses radiowave technology to tighten sagging skin and reverse the effects of aging for a rejuvenated, younger-looking appearance. Heat energy within the Pellevé® system warms the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and promote tissue contraction for improved skin quality and appearance.

Most patients who undergo the Pellevé® procedure achieve effective, natural-looking results with only a minimal risk of side effects or other complications. We are proud to offer Pellevé® treatments to our patients as an effective, affordable and nonsurgical solution to correct unwanted lines and wrinkles on the skin.

Candidates for Pellevé®

Pellevé® treatments are ideal for any patient with lines, wrinkles or drooping skin on the face who is looking to restore a more youthful appearance. It may be performed on patients of any age.

This treatment can be used to treat problem areas of skin on the face, including crow’s feet, smile lines, laugh lines and any other unwanted wrinkles. With realistic expectations, most patients are highly satisfied with the results of Pellevé® treatment. It is often recommended for patients who want to improve their appearance but do not want to undergo surgery, or do not have time for the lengthy recovery periods often associated with surgical procedures.

Your doctor will determine whether you can benefit from the Pellevé® procedure after evaluating the condition of your skin and discussing your goals for treatment.

Pellevé® precisely heats up the deep layers of your skin using advance radiofrequency technology without damaging the epidermis, or top layer. The heat causes the collagen in your skin to contract and tighten. After the treatment, your skin will start to produce new collagen. The result is an improvement in skin quality, firmness and tightness you can see and feel.

Pellevé® can be used to treat the skin on the face, including:

  • Wrinkles around the mouth
  • Lines or folds between the eyebrows
  • Lines on the forehead

Pellevé® Procedure

Before the Pellevé® procedure, a cool gel is first applied to the face to protect it during treatment. The Pellevé® handpiece is moved across the skin of the targeted area to deliver the radiowave technology and effectively tighten the skin. This heat energy penetrates deep into the skin for a customized treatment based on each patient’s skin condition. There is no damage to the surface of the skin during treatment, as only the deeper layers are affected.

Unlike other skin tightening systems, there is no anesthesia required during this procedure, with patients usually experiencing only a mild warming sensation. Each treatment takes 30-60 minutes to perform. Patients can return home and resume their regular activities immediately after treatment with no recovery time needed.

Results of Pellevé® Treatment

After Pellevé®, patients will experience a smoother, fuller appearance, as skin is tightened and lines and wrinkles are significantly reduced or eliminated. There may be mild swelling and redness after the treatment, but these symptoms usually subside by the next day.

The effects of Pellevé® will continue to improve over the next few months as the skin produces new collagen. Results typically last for a minimum of six months, although with ongoing treatments, results are often long-lasting. Your doctor will determine how many treatments are needed for each individual patient after a thorough evaluation of their skin condition. It is recommended to have 4 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart to see the best results. A series of 4 sessions may need to be repeated if a patient requires further treatment.

Pellevé® Safety

Pellevé® is FDA-approved and considered safe for most patients with only a minimal risk of complications. It can be performed on all skin types and does not cause any damage to the surface of the skin. Patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or any implanted metal device cannot be treated.
