Airgent/Needle-Free Jet Injector

What is Airgent?

Energize your skin with Airgent! Hate needles? Then this is the treatment for you! AirGent2.0 uses Jet Volumetric Remodeling (JVR) technology – a high-pressure jet technology that introduces various agents such as hyaluronic acid fillers, deep in to the dermal layer of the skin to treat a wide rage of aesthetic indications.

How does Airgent work?

The Airgent™ system introduces a skin enhancing agent to the dermis leaving the surrounding tissue intact. The agent used, combined with kinetic energy, creates a controlled micro-trauma in the dermis. This initiates the creation of new collagen and elastin, stimulating the body’s natural healing response.

Where can Airgent treatments help most?

Airgent can be used on all skin types and is suitable for even the most delicate areas of the skin, such as the decollete, neck, cheeks, forehead, chin, hands, and around the eyes and mouth.

What can Airgent treat?

The natural healing response that Airgent stimulates helps create a tightening and lifting effect of the skin and promotes wrinkle reduction. Airgent can also reduce the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks. This needle-free proprietary technology creates a smoother, well hydrated and younger look to the skin with long-term structural benefits.

Airgent™ treatments are ideal for:

  • Reducing fine wrinkles
  • Revitalizing aged, dehydrated skin
  • Enhancing natural features
  • Improving acne scars
  • Reducing wrinkles around the eyes and lips
  • Reducing noticeable scars and keloids
  • Reducing visible stretch marks
  • Mini “face-lifts” aka “Kinetic Face Lift”

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients will need a series of three treatments. However, this varies significantly between specific applications, skin thickness and other factors.

How long will the remodeling effect last?

After the initial set of treatments, one follow-up treatment is usually recommended after 6 to 12 months depending on what condition is being treated.

Can I use Airgent™ if I have previously undergone a laser treatment or a chemical peel?

Yes, but it is recommended to wait until the area is totally healed and the skin is back to its normal condition.

Is there any downtime with Airgent™?

Immediately following treatments, you will see small white bumps over the area that was treated. These usually subside within three hours. The morning after treatment there may some tiny entry-points that are visible, but these are easily concealed with make-up. These spots usually fully-heal within three to four days. There can be minimal bruising.

Are there any side effects to the Airgent™ treatment?

The Airgent™ procedure has an excellent safety record, far superior to that of laser and other thermal procedures, as well as chemical peels. Because the Airgent™ technology produces a mechanical effect rather than a thermal one, there is no risk of burning or scarring.

Are there any risks from the Airgent™ treatment?

As with any procedure, there are reactions that can be associated with the treatment. These reactions include redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising or tenderness at the application site. If these occur, they typically resolve spontaneously within one or two days after the treatment. Hematomas are not common yet may occur and disappear within a week (depending on each individual’s healing response). Following an upper lip treatment, the lip may be swollen for several days.
